הסטודיו הוקם בשנת 2018 על ידי יעל מרגלית-לקשטיין וגיא מרגלית
הסטודיו פועל מתוך חקר של זהות, מקומיות, תרבות, זמן, שפה וחומר – אלה טומנים בחובם מערכת סמויה טעונת משמעות, המהווה עבורנו תשתית שדרכה אנו פועלים, החל מהמהלך האורבני, דרך הבניין, האלמנט, האור, הפרט והחומר. הפעולה האדריכלית מהווה עבורנו חוליה המשכית לציר הזמן ההיסטורי, הפיזי והתרבותי שבו היא פועלת – אדריכלות שמשתרשת כחלק מהמקום
הסטודיו עוסק במגוון רחב של קני מידה — תכנון ועיצוב עירוני, מבני ציבור, אדריכלות נוף, מגורים ועיצוב פנים. בכולם אנו שואפים לעושר אדריכלי וחומרי: טקטוניקה, קומפוזיציה, פרופורציות, אור וחומר מהווים שפה דרכה אנו מתקשרים ומייצרים חלל וחוויה
העבודה בסטודיו קושרת בין תאוריה עכשווית ומחקר לפרקטיקה, ומפתחת שפה אדריכלית מדויקת לכל פרויקט, בהתאם לדרישותיו הפיזיות, האיכותיות והפרוגרמתיות

The studio was founded in 2018 by Yael Margalit-Lakstein and Guy Margalit.
The studio’s work begins with an inquiry into identity, locality, culture, time, language and material — together, these hold a hidden system charged with meaning, one that serves as the foundation through which we work, from the urban move down to the building, the element, the light, the detail and the material. For us, the architectural act forms a continuous link in the historical, physical and cultural timeline within which it operates — architecture that takes root as part of its place.
The studio works across a wide range of scales — urban planning and design, public buildings, landscape architecture, residential work and interior design. Across all of them, we pursue the same architectural and material richness: tectonics, composition, proportion, light and material form a language through which we communicate and create space and experience.
The studio’s work ties contemporary theory and research to practice, developing a precise architectural language for each project, tailored to its physical, qualitative and programmatic demands
Arch. Guy Margalit
Architecture degree (B.Arch) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion (2012).
m.a degree from tel aviv university
In addition to practicing architecture as a lead architect, Guy is also leading / teaching a design studio at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion, Israel institute of technology.
Professional experience includes working at these prominent architecture offices: Mansfeld-Kehat Architects, Efrat-Kowalsky Architects, Mayslits Kassif Architects

2020 | 3rd prize winning at the competition for Minve academy and museum for hebrew language Jerusalem.
2018 | Finalist of the competition for renewal planning for Safra Square (City Square) Jerusalem.
2017 | First place in the competition for planning the entrances to Kiryat Ono.
2013 | First place in the “Building with a Green vision in the domastic and public space” competition by the Israeli Green Building Council.
